Valentine's Day shirts & new spring/summer appliques

Here are some new Valentine shirts for boys & girls.

I LOVE this owl & it's cute enough and not so overly "Valentine's" that it could be worn after Valentine's Day (especially done as shown in pink/brown).

These are some of my newest applique designs - some I've had for a while, but only recently stitched them out. They are more for spring or summer, but could work year round too. The duck is on a burp cloth for a boy, but would also be cute for Easter.
This is a newborn onesie & would be a cute gift along with the following burp cloth to coordinate (or even the same design on a burp cloth). I just love this little sheep! I do it on lots of burp cloths - for boys or girls.
And the rocket ship - on a long sleeved tee, but could just as easily work for the summer. Great boyish design.

New appliques and gift ideas

It's been a while since I've updated anything - in the meantime I have some new appliques I've ordered, but haven't gotten a chance to try them all yet. Plus, I've gotten lots of new fabric just waiting for a project! Here's just a sampling of a few things I've done lately, and another snowman & snowflake - although we're almost past that time of year now. I also have several new valentine designs, but I still have one more to do, so I'll hopefully post that later this weekend.
I really like the new circle initial design - It can be personalized with fabric for girls or boys - and would be great for sibling shirts too. (It's one of the few designs that my husband has labeled "cool" for boys!)This one is a great year round design for boys! This is done on a hooded sweatshirt for the winter. This is a cute birthday shirt - with any number/name combo.
Burp cloths - cute girly & spring designs. I've said it before, but this little bird is one of my favorites!!These backpacks are the cutest thing! They're from Hobby Lobby and are only $8.99, plus they are frequently on sale at 50% off or you can always use a coupon - so they make a cute and very affordable baby or birthday gift. They come in pink or blue as shown.

Ho Ho Ho and Snowmen

These two cute Santas I did for two of my favorite babies celebrating their first Christmas this year.
Here are examples of several snowmen, done in coordinating green & blue/pink for matching brother & sister shirts.
This ornament, done on a red shirt, can be really cute with an initial in the middle for girls. These last two shirts were for a friend - the first is a simple name shirt done in coordinating browns & pinks and the second is a cute preteen applique monogram example.

More Thanksgiving designs, gift ideas & new boy appliques

Here are 3 Thanksgiving designs: one is the same turkey (this year's most popular turkey day design) done "girly" on a pink onesie, a simple turkey head (my son's t-shirt from last year, which has held up pretty well considering it's been washed and worn already) , and a happy little indian boy.
Here are two new sets of burp cloths that I've done; one for a girl, one for a boy. You can order a set of 3 burp cloths or two burp cloths and a bib for $30.These market totes make great birthday or Christmas gifts too!
I've also got several new boy designs that I've done recently. Now that football season is almost over, it's time for basketball & this design works well with any team colors! The front loader is really cute and can offer lots of color choices. Finally, the cute little lab in the wagon - everything is more boyish in a wagon, right?

More girly designs

Here's another example of the maria frame-probably my favorite girl design right now! So many possibilities with different fabric choices - you could do red/green pink/green for Christmas too.

And another example of a three letter applique monogram.
I've got several pairs of these bloomers/diaper covers for girls. It may be hard to see in the picture, but they are trimmed in hot pink or light purple gingham with bows at the legs. So cute with a small monogram or single initial. Let me know if you're interested - cute for baby gifts or Christmas presents! These are a few more examples of Christmas designs for girls: lights trio with a monogram in red/green and the Christmas tree - made to match her brother's done in corduroy and gingham.
I hope to be adding some new pictures of some boy designs later this afternoon.

Gobble Gobble

Here are two turkeys I just did - the same design - one for boys and one for girls. I'm lucky I got anything done this week since my machine has been in the shop for several days! I'm glad to get it back in (mostly) working order! Forgive the lighting in the first picture - not the greatest!

Here's another example of a large applique initial, made to match a pair of gingham pants.
Here's another one of the Christmas tree/truck applique designs I have - it's probably my favorite. I really like the bright colors, not just the traditional red/green color scheme.
Finally, two of the more popular boy designs I have, shown in different fabrics/color choices. I've been working on some more girl stuff, so when I get those done in the next few days, I'll get those pictures posted as well.
